Abstract
This paper discusses the potential of using personalized approach in learning in 21st century. This paper will focus mainly on the advantages of implementation of eportfolio in programs where learners are distributed. ePortfolio could be created for showcasing one’s knowledge, skills and competencies and to capture the process of learning. ePortfolios could be individual, collaborative and interconnected. ePortfolio is a sustainable measure to enhance self-directed learning and developing the skills for lifelong learning. Author proposes that soon we will be facing with the challenges and demands of neo-M and neo-N generation of learners in 21st century. We will have to anticipate the requirements of the era and provide opportunities active and proactive learning, to take responsibilities of their learning and accumulate the skills required for 21st Century. They need to be evaluators, decision makers and potential leaders of the future.
