Abstract

Researchers frequently argue the need for providing models technology integration for pre-service teachers. However, a problem has been locating adequate, age-appropriate models. Recently, several researchers have suggest videocases may meet this need. In this proposed project, videocases will be used as examples for preservice teachers. The videocases include examples from both elementary and high school teachers, and demonstrate live lessons integrating technology with a variety of content. Cases are instructor-facilitated, and used to help demonstrate the intricacies associated with technology integration. This research project evaluates the use of such cases in an undergraduate, preservice teacher preparation program.
