Abstract

The evaluation of redesigned online graduate programs (M.Ed. and Ed.S.) has been implemented with a connection to the ISTE Standards for Coaches. The online programs were redesigned to prepare Instructional Technology Coaches for K-12 teachers. Students in the programs are teachers who are prepared to be more effective in their instruction and be able to coach peers in the implementation of ISTE Standards for Teachers and Standards for Students. In order to facilitate learning assessments and program evaluation, the emphasis on serving school clients through course projects allows students to engage in authentic learning experiences that provide immediate use and value to clients. The clients play a significant role in the assessment of student work and electronic portfolios.
