Abstract

Ready or not, we are entering the Post-PC era. A time when mobile technology, such as the Apple iPad, will change how we teach and how we learn in the Higher Education classroom. It must be said that no technology can answer all of our educational needs and each comes with both benefits and drawbacks, but when we consider how quickly the move to the Post-PC era is happening it is imperative that institutions of higher education pay close attention. This presentation will bring together the latest research, and the stories, from one-to-one mobile initiatives from around the world.
