Abstract

Electronic instructional delivery is growing as quickly as Audrey in “The Little Shop of Horrors,” with increasing numbers of learners and educators entwined in its tendrils. Incorporating features into online classroom design based on knowledge of the human brain and how learning occurs can help students reap a better harvest of knowledge. Utilizing time saving techniques, online educators can increase their own efficiency and better meet the needs of students. Combined, this information for course developers and instructors provides the ‘fertilizer’ to enrich the experience for both the instructor and the student.
