Abstract
Abstract: This paper is a prediction of the likelihood of adoption of the Apple iPad by law schools. The framework for this analysis was Rogers’ innovation theory and the content analysis was based on law professor blogs in the first quarter of 2010. Findings indicate that law professors likely to be opinion leaders in the area of technology use in law schools were more neutral to negative, and that from this, law schools were not likely to be innovators in adopting this technology. Follow-up research in Fall 2010 confirmed very limited us in law schools of the iPad, in general and as compared to medical schools.
