Abstract

This session deals with the use of blogs and wikis as organizational tools for managing educational technology courses and technology resources for teacher education undergraduates and graduates. Advantages that have accrued as a result of this re-organization of resources include (a) students can refresh their technology skills at any time, even after they’ve completed the course, (b) students who have taken a different technology course, perhaps at another university, and need to brush-up on certain skills, can do so without signing up for the entire technology course, (c) faculty can learn or brush-up on their technology skills, and (d) having these resources publicly available indicates to other faculty what the students are capable of doing with technology.
