Abstract
Since 2001 Macao government has been investing and promoting the implementation of ICT in schools. This research was commissioned by the Macao Education and Youth Affairs Bureau at the end of 2002. It aims to review the progress of the ICT implementation in Macao schools and to recommend necessary adjustment for the future. This paper is part of the research project and concentrates in the investigation of ICT literacy of the school students. Questionnaire was used in this study. Three areas were investigated, including: ICT Skills, Way to Acquire ICT Knowledge, and Attitude towards ICT Applications. Findings and suggestions are also given in the paper.
