Abstract

The ultimate measure of the effects of Preparing Teachers to Use Technology is the amount of time teachers and their students use technology in the classroom. This paper outlines one PT3 group's attempt to create and use an observation instrument to collect data regarding teacher and student classroom technology integration. A description of the process used to draft the instrument, a description of the instrument, an explanation of the data analysis process, the results of a pilot study (N=23), and a discussion of the process and outcomes are included.
