Abstract

This review paper tends to discuss factors influencing teachers’ and instructors’ perceptions about technology and its integration within their classroom instructions. The present paper showed that variables such as teaching and learning beliefs, teaching philosophies and experiences, teacher training programs, attitudes, perceptions of teachers, technological facilities and available equipment and support may affect teachers’ application of technology in their classes and their success in instructional technology integration. At the end, it points to some issues of instructors’ technology integration in Iranian EFL classes.
