Abstract

This panel session involves discussion about the e-book: Emerging technologies in Learning: The impact on cognition and culture which will be published by AACE. Audience will be introduce to different sections of the book which will initiate group discussions to identify the gaps and select potential contribtors to submit to engage in an ongoing online discuss towards a second edition or second volume of the book. This e-book will be a dyamic piece of publication which will evolve and improve through online interaction between the members of the learning community involving school teachers, university faculty, students, industry personnel, training professionals and researchers. Authors’ presentations will be followed by a 30 mins discussion. Following are some of the discussion questions: What are emerging technologies? Which technologies are suitable for learning and why? What are the new and emerging areas of research?
