Abstract
The Scottish Interactive Technology Centre at the University of Edinburgh has created a CD ROM resource entitled "Dealing With Disruption". Though initially prepared on a small scale, the instant success of this multimedia teaching aid prompted distribution to the majority of teachers in Scotland, through the commendation and support of the Scottish Executive Education Department. By a copyright arrangement with one of the CD authors, the CD was distributed to three sections of science education students in a teacher preparation degree program at the School of Education, Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. Students were posed with critically analysing the contents of the CD in a Canadian context. The feedback from these teacher interns took the form of a survey and a one page critique. The quantitative and qualitative feedback are summarised in this paper.
