Abstract
This paper presents some issues in the use of web pages as supplements to traditional, on-campus courses. It also presents some technical and design problems currently found in such pages, as well as some suggested solutions. Some of these problems can be rectified by better use of hypertext markup language (HTML), while others are more pedagogical in nature. Attention is given to ensuring that pages are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
