Abstract

Visual literacy, digital storytelling, and multimodal learning have begun to transform educational practice in schools. Teachers and school media professionals are encouraged to integrate visual and digital literacies, but are they prepared to do so? This project investigated the current tools and practices of educators regarding the integration of visual learning and literacy concepts, and describes the tools and strategies that educators are employing to extend visual learning opportunities.
