Abstract
This best practice session looks at ways that mobile devices with cellular connectivity can continue the learning and engage participants after a face to face professional development workshop concludes. Professional development should never be once and done. Instead, it should be ongoing and embedded in the daily life of an educator. Wireless technology is a way to provide ongoing resources and facilitate access to information wherever a participant is located. It enables, empowers, and engages learning in ways that transform the learning environment for participants. In an attempt to keep the professional development group connected, and to continue the access to mindfulness meditations, phase two of this project continued the learning online. Practicing Presence can now happen anytime, anywhere, and now thanks to mobile technology- in the present moment.
