Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is now preparing a physical environment where digital teaching materials will be utilized in elementary school classrooms. Many types of digital teaching materials using multimedia are already available. In such an environment, it is indispensable to have a practical, standard platform "REKOS"and database system"KOS Server System" which can easily be used by the teacher himself. However, the question of how to actually apply these and resolve any inherent problems is now an urgent problem. It is particularly necessary to digitize teaching projects compatible with content which can be used in the field as supplementary teaching materials, and to make use of them from a variety of different angles.
