Abstract

Teaching is in many ways a data-driven profession. A good teacher continuously rethinks pedagogical strategies in light of incoming data in order to accommodate new information. One way to do this is through the use of information visualization (InfoViz) software. Through the InfoViz modules provided by the software, AvenueDHH, and a survey of information design frameworks, we present an information visualization framework for education based on engaging interactivity and a focus on aesthetics.
