Abstract

In this action research study, participants are encouraged to rethink assessment and accreditation in academia; argue the challenges and advantages of “assessment for and of learning in higher education; explore best practices, assessment tools, and approaches that incorporate transdisciplinary, sustainable, replicable and innovative projects. Through the rediscovery process, our team redesigned, and created the strategies, curricula, and programs for improving student learning outcomes, gained alternative point of view on the role accreditation on teaching and learning and renewed interest and commitment to assessment.
