Abstract
This paper, after briefly explaining the content, placement and delivery method of EDTL 367 - Computer Utilization in the Classroom - Secondary, presents a definition of media literacy and a rationale for integrating media literacy concepts and activities into the course. Examples of appropriate activities are given and a number of relevant resources for further information about media literacy are cited. As available, student and instructor reactions to a pilot introduction of media literacy concepts into the course are offered.
