Abstract

Online education continues to grow exponentially in K-12 and higher education. With the immense growth in online learning, it is essential that qualified, passionate, and cutting edge instructors are available to teach. The online instructor is the driver and acts as the guide or facilitator for students. It is imperative that online instructors are prepared and understand the intricacies of online teaching. So how do you know if online teaching is for you? At this roundtable, we will discuss what it takes to be a quality online educator and how to keep students engaged and motivated in the online environment.
