Abstract

This paper examines the transition from traditional to web-based professional development that took place at the Heartland Area Educational Agency, as it led the way in Iowa. It continues the initial case study presented at SITE in 2001, details the progress made in using web-based technology for the delivery of existing courses as well as the development of new courses, and examines the effective use of new technologies for the evaluation of learning outcomes.
