Abstract
Many digital libraries and institutional repositories have been developed by higher education institutions and many other institutions across the globe. These invaluable information resources have the potential to be of use to both educators and learners in e-learning environments. This paper addresses and discusses the integration of digital information resources for use in e-learning. In addition, this paper calls for more efforts on the part of stakeholders to promote and to use digital libraries and institutional repositories as information resources in e-learning environments. Strategies for integration are also proposed.
