This report presents technology-enhanced activities designed for secondary mathematics teachers within the context of matrix algebra, transformational geometry, and fractals. It concerns the ways in which a spreadsheet can be used as a tool kit that enables one, through encoding and manipulating matrices, to create fractals with reliance upon the Chaos Game. The authors argue that such use of a spreadsheet can help prospective teachers link properties of matrices and concepts of transformational geometry in a meaningful and representational manner.
