Abstract
Evaluation of teaching is an effective strategy to improve teaching. Online evaluation of teachers has not received appropriate attention as a tool to improve teaching in various levels of education and for evaluation of performance in higher education teaching for consideration of promotion and tenure. Both peer evaluation of teaching and student evaluation have strengths and weaknesses. This study proposes the integration of peer evaluation, self-evaluation, and student evaluation for online instructors. Evaluations by peers and students are reported. Instructors and students expressed positive responses to this integrated evaluation of online teaching although it is a time-consuming process.
