Abstract

The focus of this study is to develop an empirical understanding of virtual teaming activities. Virtual teams allow students to build the requisite bodies of knowledge for business professions while improving their analytical and problem-solving abilities in online environments. Such approaches are widespread since the curriculum of MBA students target such skills and abilities. Many fast-emerging online MBA programs have recently adopted a collaborative approach to business disciplines and there is a need to better understand the nature of virtual teaming activities. In response, key issues and concerns of virtual teaming activities for an online MBA program were formulated for better designing appropriate instructional strategies for collaborative learning.
