Abstract
Over three years of an experimental course entitled GIS in Education, we have consistently engaged student participants as collaborative co-constructive partners in designing instruction. With a class website that facilitates communication between students and instructors, and by incorporating former students as instructors, a number of new components have been added. GIS projects designed by the participants and the results of follow-up studies are presented.
