An attitude survey of motivations with interactive whiteboard and slate computer adoption in science education

Newly-appeared educational media such as interactive whiteboard (IWB) and slate computer have big potential ability to achieve better outcome in school education. The authors contributed a surveyance and a empirical assessment for analyzing motivational factors to use such equipments in education. Exploratory Factor analysis about motivation of IWB use for 59 teacher-training course students extracts 7-factor structure. The results may have an implication for teaching stratedies in teacher-training course. Empirical evaluation of self-learning e-book learning using slate computer with 11 undergraduate students shows attitude toward learning.
