Abstract

This roundtable will demonstrate computer mathematics environments that combine teaching and assessment. Participants will relate content to their experience, and suggest similarly useful environments. We have extensive experience using computer games as both individual and collaborative tests. We will show and discuss several computer mathematics tests, and discuss the unique value of this testing environment. We were concerned that in a collaborative testing environment that the brightest student would do all the work, or that some students would do no work. We found, by taping a collaborative computer test, that every student in each group was involved in the work. A collaborative testing experience where all members contribute is indeed possible.
