Abstract

Educators are being asked to select hardware and corresponding materials that go along with those selections. However, they are not always given the information necessary to make developmentally appropriate or effective decisions. Sometimes educators choose based on which one is the cheapest without considering the difference in features. This presentation will discuss the differences in E-Readers, the difference in I-Pads and Tablets, and the differences between all of the above. Furthermore, this presentation will give participants some tools and ideas to use in their classroom regardless of what their choices will be.
