Abstract

Abstract: The paper presents the one minute video dictionary project. Pre-service teachers created one minute vocabulary words. They captured raw video with mobile video devices like the iTouch and Flip Cameras. Vocabulary words described in the videos were words commonly a part of Science or Social Studies curriculum in grades three through five. The paper’s procedures and findings include how the project was accomplished, and what the students’ perceptions were after completing their vocabulary videos. Finally, it includes best practices for future implementation of the project
