Abstract

This brief paper focuses on the topic of blended learning in higher education and a study (in progress) in a community college, continuing education program. The primary focus of this study is students’ perspectives and experiences in a blended learning course. The blended learning course is compared to their experiences in traditional, in-class and on-campus courses. Preliminary findings indicate that the blended learning course, combined with the other traditional courses, is beneficial to the students’ learning, engagement and personal development.
