Abstract

This best practice session will review the opportunities and challenges of a large global organization as their Learning and Education (L&E) department identifies ways to virtually collaborate and effectively meet their project goals under the confines of CPE compliance driven by a national governing body. The results of these collaborations include repurposing aspects of content, technology, and design; leveraging internal talent to create cross teaming; unleashing the creative brainpower of isolated team members, developing our people by pushing the creative edge and ultimately advancing their capabilities. Outcomes include a series of courses with innovative design approaches and the creation of a toolbox of repurposable elements that can be used on other projects. A side benefit was the organic collaboration of virtual team members and the realization of increased efficiencies in the design and development process.
