Abstract

Abstract: Is there a secret to becoming an effective virtual professor? There is considerable growth in the offering of online courses in the world of education. While this paper does not provide a definitive guide to becoming an effective virtual professor, it does identify the responsibility and expectations of those accepting the challenge to be become online educators. In addition to the responsibilities, this paper identifies considerations to take into account when developing and teaching online courses.
