Abstract

The objective of this paper was to study how to use the students’ complementary characteristics to increase the learning performance of English. A genetic algorithm was applied in here for obtaining the optimal complementary learning clusters for the experimental group. The results of the comparison between the experimental group and control group show that the experimental group has the higher performances in listening, speaking, and reading than those in the control group.
