Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop online pedagogy and evaluate the value of collaboration in its design in order to foster 21st century skills. A careful analysis of the process for converting existing face-to-face collaborative instruction into collaborative online instruction will be conducted. A strategy for this process will be developed. The procedures developed for the conversion process will be designed to maintain the computer-supported collaborative components of the original instructional unit using Web 2.0 tools.
