Abstract

Graduate students were asked to create reflective blogs and podcasts in four different courses in a College of Education and Human Development as part of a qualitative study of electronic learning spaces. Adopting Bloom’s Taxonomy as an initial framework, HyperRESEARCH software was used to analyze and evaluate blog narrative. This roundtable discussion will focus on the potential use of blogs in an academic setting. Guidelines developed to introduce blogging, and the rubrics used to assess student learning will be provided for discussion.
