Abstract

Take Charge! Be Healthy! (TC) and Healthy Hearts 4 Kids (HH) are two eLearning instructional modules used with school-age children to focus on increased health knowledge and positive health behaviors in intermediate grade classrooms and middle/high school health classes. HH has been implemented in over 1650 classrooms and used by 24,000 students from 2002-2008. TC was developed and piloted with more than 1300 students during the 2007-08 school year. Select content from each of the instructional modules will be presented. Results of implementation, as well as lessons learned from development to evaluation, will be shared.
