Technology is changing how students think and learn. The purpose of education is to prepare students for the next 25 years.The needs of the students have changed from the industrial age to the communication age as the technology explosion has pushed the world into a new era of learning. Digital technology is transparent to students as they grow up using all the different devices for communicating and playing. Teachers offer students learning environments that can help students thrive and learn by discovering their interests and passions. The purpose of this paper is to help teachers understand how they can provide learning environments through technology that support the changing needs of students in today's changing world.
