Abstract

This round table discussion will focus on presenting the "Best Practices and Lessons Learned in Developing, Implementing and Delivering Successful Distributed Learning Environments" to students in BC, Canada. The results of this presentation are informed by 5 months of research on online learning across 9 projects, 14 public school districts, 14 First Nation schools and 4 Francophone regions. While the results present a meta-analysis of the global best practices across the nine projects; this session is intended more as a practical tool for administrators, district facilitators and teachers to use to help make informed decisions when planning and implementing similar technology solutions in their own educational setting.
