Abstract

Electronic portfolios are used in many ways in the world of education. They are seen in collegiate and teacher education programs as well as in the K-12 learning environment. One of the major choices that educators still have is whether to create a paper-based portfolio or an electronic one. This poster presentation will discuss these issues while summarizing the literature related to electronic portfolios including benefits and potential pitfalls, and creating an electronic portfolio.
