Abstract

The purpose of this project is to design and develop a web-based multidisciplinary collaborative learning project exemplifying the constructivist approach to curriculum development. The rationale for this project is to utilize e-learning for students in the Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership Master's programs to provide interaction on a collaborative project. The project will promote cooperative learning, discussion and evaluation of the practice and theory of the courses. This paper describes the strategies of designing effective learning environments for multidisciplinary collaboration and problem-based learning in an authentic learning environment.
