Abstract

The rapidly developing information technology makes teacher technology education very challenging (Roblyer, 2003). While some research has suggested some effective ways to integrate technology in teacher education programs such as via constructivist learning environment (Gibson & Skaalid, 2004), the need exists to publicize different instructional approaches and innovations toward teacher technology education (SITE, http://www.aace.org/site/SITEstatement.htm). The purpose of this paper is to introduce a modified project-based instructional model for teaching information technology to preservice teachers.
