Abstract

When Middle Tennessee State University installed campus wide high speed internet in 1995, we were faced with new challenges and changes many of us could not have anticipated. Most instructors treated the Internet as a novelty that provided us with entertainment and, in some cases, added avenues of research and instruction. We did not anticipate how much some types of instruction would be changed over the next 10 years. The application of new and better online delivery software coupled with a learning styles survey instrument has enabled our faculty to create a viable and successful set of programs of online courses.
