Abstract

Abstract: The RETAIN model for serious game design and its rubric as an assessment for knowledge transfer has been utilized across multiple types of game platforms and with certain games. However, there is limited research regarding the use of RETAIN as a knowledge transfer assessment tool within the genre of games for social change. In this study, in-service graduate teachers used the RETAIN rubric to analyze serious games in the social change genre for knowledge transfer. The result of these evaluations will be discussed in the presentation.
