Abstract

The use of information and communications technology (ICT) to apply digitization techniques to advancing education and improving teachers’ teaching skills using ICT is in demand. However, it is difficult to teach persons how to acquire teaching skills using ICT and the most effective learning method has not been established. The purpose of this study is to establish an effective learning method for acquiring such teaching skills using ICT in a teacher training course. We established and evaluated learning method involving problem solving learning through a “Spot the different videos” method to acquire the skills. Evaluation results show that the method enables learners using it to think about how ICT can be effectively used and to acquire knowledge about use it.
