Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the potential of wireless devices and associated collaborative software developed for the improvement of learning by undergraduate students in a large class setting. Students' learning gained from the course, perception of the software, and interaction among students were used as indicators of the effectiveness. As a result, students showed better learning and positive perception of the software, but there was a great deal of variance of interaction. Following the result, implications for practices and research were offered.
