Abstract

People have been using audio for many years to improve themselves with self-development and motivational tapes. We listen to them while driving, on the plane, and at the beach. Now, with digital audio and portable MP3 players, there are even more powerful ways to use audio to become lifelong learners. MP3 audiobooks and other interesting content can be purchased and downloaded from the web. With text-to-speech software, we can convert any text on a computer, including web pages, to audio speech that can be played back from a portable MP3 player for powerful learning. Digital audio combined with powerful software and portable players offers many new possibilities for lifelong learning.
