Abstract

To implement e-learning into a company, an organisational perspective is needed. Only this view ensures that e-learning can be systematically integrated into the company's education and advanced vocational training, as well as into its information systems. This paper presents a reference model that can be used for designing and operating e-learning processes and e-learning organisations. It can help managers to identify important tasks and necessary information when setting up those processes and organisations, and thus minimises the necessary effort, cost and time involved.
