Abstract

The Cleveland Municipal School District (Cleveland, OH) has implemented a video-on-demand system to address concerns about quality aligned content resources that would supplement and complement teaching focused on curriculum areas in need of instructional revitalization. The IBM "Video Management Solution," part of IBM's Learning Alignment strategy, is a component of IBM's digital content management offering for K-12 school districts. The system has been successfully deployed to teachers in the district since September of 2002. This presentation will share the digital content management system, workflow models, implementation and deployment lessons learned, and technical infrastructure put in place to create and deliver this system to the teachers and students of the Cleveland Municipal School District.
