Abstract

Abstract: This project was the result of our recognition of the difficulties that many of our students were having in online math classes. Until now, our faculty have been limited to static presentations that limited their ability to provide a true understanding of mathematical concepts we deemed important in our classes and websites that offered a fragmented view of mathematics that might not be consistent with our approach. In order to effectively and efficiently present the material, we will now provide multi-media presentations that will allow students to explore the material in a more meaningful way. These materials will be of value not only to online students but can be used in labs as supplemental instruction for traditional students and can be modified to meet the needs of area businesses.
